Our Lady of Guadalupe through My Years...

So in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe I leave you with a scattering of images and some connections from my life.

This is a actual size replica of the St. Juan Diego's  tilma.  It is printed on a canvas.  I picked it up when I was on a 72 hour pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City in 1993.  I had no idea about the story---I remember the owners of a Mexican restaurant near my parish helped me get a room at the rectory for the priests of the shrine.    It was here that she left a mark on my soul...

This is in a glass shadow box....with some stuff from Medugorje...given to me by a priest while in Guadalupe...his name was Gabriel...yep he gave me, Michael, this image...Later I gave this image to my yet-to-be wife as a little gift.  And...(yep again)...it really never left my presence since we soon married.

This is a little fun image I found in San Miguel de Allende while I was readying to write A Lost Shepherd.
Very cool...Jesus as the Master Painter...

Flea Market purchase --Selingsgrove PA @2.00 There is some sort of cool fiber optic light with this but it doesn't work...that probably would have cost 3.00 then.
Christmas gift from my lovely wife....2014
